They Y has served as a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community for more than 175 years. The Y empowers everyone, no matter who they are or where they're from, by ensuring access to resources, relationships, and opportunities for all to learn, grow, and thrive. By bringing people together from different backgrounds, perspectives, and generations, the Y's goal is to improve overall health and well-being, ignite youth empowerment and demonstrate the importance of connections in and across 10,000 communities nationwide.  

Our mission at the YMCA of Chilton County is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.​Contributions from caring people like you help us keep our promise that no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Every year, children and adults throughout Chilton County receive financial assistance so they can participate in character-building YMCA programs. Our annual Transforming Lives Campaign and YMCA Rodeo provide the funding necessary to ensure that your community’s neighbors have access to the YMCA programs they need and deserve.
